today was the year one's first official dance lesson with zaki. initially he was like so fierce la. super particular about the dance steps of every count and even down to 1/2 a count. have to be clean in our steps, any mistake and everybody will have to start from the top again. wah.. but i gotta admit this. he's good. =)
finally we sat down to discuss subsequent dance rehearsals. to my horror, there are dance practices every sunday either from 8-10am or 10-12pm, on top of the practices we have on weekdays! that means i have to either go for second sunday service which starts at 11.30am, or i won't even be able to go at all! *aahhh!!* and my drums duty during worship session will have to stop too. :( all these will go on until our dance production on 19th may. i guess i have no choice. these will only be temporary. really hope that our regular sunday practices will be from 8-10am. at least i can still go for sunday service.
ok. back to our discussion just now. i plucked up my courage and asked him if there's any possibility that rehearsals will be held on monday (labour day) instead of this sunday. since he mentioned earlier on that the practice is tentatively on sunday, if not monday. cos i've got alpha weekend away until this sunday evening. after asking the rest, most of them wanted sunday. shucks. then i was like "oh no!" in a volume which i didn't think was loud such that zaki can hear me. and then zaki from behind me was like "ahaha!!" in an extremely (and might i add, terrifyingly) high pitched voice. he was laughing at me. hurhur..

alpha weekend away is coming! i'm so looking forward to it la. we're going johor bahru. it's only a 2 days 1 night trip. i'm intending to minimise to the max the stuffs that i'm bringing. travelling light is the way to go! wahaha.. unfortunately i haven't even started packing yet. i'm too lazy to do that. will probably start tmr morning although i gotta be at simei at 930am. ok my hair's more or less dry already. gotta sleep now. good night! =)

yea!! i've got many friends supporting me for the upcoming dance production! =D so happy.
there'll be xin ling, xian jie, evon, sien, ding yi, colin, clement, darren, jamie, joanne, amelia, william, lydia, claudia, christine and chaneline going. :))
2 days ago (friday), after sports carnival, we had dance practice at 630pm. a senior taught us a dance which we had to learn and show it to our dance teacher and then from that, he's going to choose a few to dance together with the year 2s. i was really quite stressed out and irritated because the senior went very very fast and i seriously can't catch up, on top of the fact that i'm a pretty slow learner. i was on the verge of flaring up cos one thing that really irks me was when i just don't seem to get it while the others are coping better than i can. but i didn't really flare up la. it was a real test of my self-control.
so you guys who will be supporting me are my source of motivation and my driving force to persevere on for the next 3 weeks. 3 very shiong weeks since the years 1s haven started choreographing, learning, dancing and polishing the dance for the production yet.

had econs test today. i studied so hard for it but i think i'll most probably flunk it. aiya whatever la. as if i'm not already used to failing back in cedar. and we got back maths lecture test today. not bad.. i didn't fail too badly. haha.. i sound so pessimistic. never mind.

i bought a book today. weird enough, i didn't know why i bought it. i was on my way home and it was raining so i thought it'll be nice to just curl up at home to read. its called rachel's tears. about this girl who got martyred for her faith during the columbine high school shootout. its very interesting and intriguing because its based on a true story. can almost imagine the whole situation. and rachel had premonition about her impending death. that's like so... scary? to me la. apparently she wasn't scared because of her faith in God. =)

mardi gras: thurday

finally, the long awaited day, when we committed all our time, energy, blood and sweat into the dance for this event. haha.. i'd say all of us did very well! =) was quite disappointed that most of my friends weren't there to watch the dance whilst the others' did. but you guys who missed the mardi gras dance today, please please please promise you'd come for the tj dance production ok? reverie II will be on 19th may at kallang theatre, 8-10pm. i'll be performing then too. :) ticket price not sure. heh..

mummy left for china yesterday night. at 2am.
earlier that day i had school and dance until 6.20pm, went for alpha till 10+pm, then to the airport until 1.30am. i was so tired i almost fell asleep standing.

weird.. i thought i had lots of blog-worthy stuffs to update but nothing comes into my mine now. maybe its the time of the night when my brain just shuts down..

i'm seriously on a blogging spree la. haha.. ever since my internet is fixed, i get caught up in my internet addiction again. this is bad. i should start doing my homework and catch up on 3 months worth of schoolwork soon.

there's campus superstar finals later on. haha.. kind of exciting ah. i hope teresa wins cos she's pretty and sings really well too. the guys.. hmm.. i think i'd choose the hci guy cos he's really good although renfred's better looking than he is.

suddenly i'm reminiscing about my childhood. i used to make my own toys and i got so inspired one day and made my own atm machine. wahaha.. not bad eh? quite high tech. sadly i don't have it anymore and i can't even remember why.

there's so much i wanna update! its like 2.21am now and i gotta wake up at 7 for worship practice at 8 in church tmr morning but i feel so inspired now to blog.

we had serve graduation. and it was great to be able to see them again. all the times we had spent together. we took lots of pictures. daniel compiled all the pictures we'd taken during the entire SERVE period into a disc. get this. not just a cd but a dvd. haha.. cos there were so many photos that normal cds just couldn't keep it all. :P and he managed to print on the disc and made it look like an album la. haha.. no doubt the IT whiz. thanks so much for the pictures! =) these are just 2 of the pictures we took.. i'll put more next time since its getting late and my computer lags cos there are too many things to read from the dvd.

we had parents-you are invited! day during our usual youth fellowship timeslot. and i gave my testimony. initially i was really reluctant to do it. i shall confess and admit that i still didn't really enjoy speaking to a whole lot of people about my personal experiences. but earlier today when i was trying to prepare the testimony that i was going to give, i was kind of fretting over it cos i hadn't really given much thought about what i was going to say. but miraculously, everything just falls into place and it seemed as if it all follows a theme. haha.. thank God! and usually when i prepared something like that, i would stare at my script and read off from it but today, i didn't do too much of that and could remember what i wanted to say without referring too much to my outlines. yea! except with a few hiccups: bookmarks falling out from my bible while i was referring to it during my testimony and the drum stick flying out of my hands during praise and worship, everything was good. =)

oh man.. its 3.12am now. i have to sleep! otherwise i can't wake up tmr morning.
